HOW REQUEST TOYS FOR YOUR CHILDREN

We distribute toys through Papa's Pantry (Somervell Ccounty Food Bank) and the GRISD School Counselors.

 

HOW TO REQUEST A TOY COLLECTION BOX FOR YOUR BUSINESS OR EVENT

CLICK HERE to request a toy collection box for your business or event. Using the online request system will ensure that your business or event is automatically added to our website as an active drop-off location. We ask that you pick up and return your box(es) at our warehouse due to our volunteers staffing shortage. If you are unable to pick up or return you box, we will find a way to accommodate what you need.

WHAT SHOULD I DONATE?

Its up to you! We collect and distribute new, unwrapped toys to enable parents to have something “under the tree” on Christmas morning.

We also accept monetary donations (cash, checks or online) and use these funds to buy toys from our bulk discount distributors. All monetary donations will be used to serve local children. If you make a monetary donation with a check or on our website, you will receive a tax receipt from the Toys For Tots Foundation.

Your local Toys For Tots campaign serves children from birth to age 18/still in school. When selecting gifts to donate, think about the fact that your donation may be the “big gift” placed under the tree for a child. We also distribute a significant volume of stocking stuffers and books along with each toy request, so maybe you want to focus on donating quality smaller gifts.

Educational toys, STEM toys and craft kits are always a great donation! For older children, grooming kits, personal care appliances and music gadgets are always a great gift. For example, teens love getting body sprays, hair care sets and curling irons, grooming kits and shavers, remote control toys and music gadgets. Good quality sports balls and equipment, skate boards and scooters are always a welcome gift.

And we need your help!

From spending time in the warehouse sorting and packing toys for distribution to providing manpower at an event, we can put you to work! If you have just an hour, a day, or recurring availability, you won't be sorry you spent your time with us! Come as an individual or organize your community, club or place of business to work with us. We are able to provide Community Service Hours for students and people who are on the Community Supervision/Probation Program.
